This FINtastic little girl is ready to SEA the world from her travelling aquarium! For your painting ease, Seafoam comes in separate parts - body, 3 fin pieces, volcano base, and separate bubble sections. It's all very easy to POP into place and holds firm without glueing. The photos show teal fins to clearly demonstrate where the pieces snap in, but the castings will all be standard white.

 

What SCALE is she? It's a little hard to say since she's a betta inspired and enlarged fantasy hippocampus! Including her base, she stands approximately 12 1/2 inches tall, about the same height as Kylee Parks' Jacobus or Breyer's Adonis. Her horse end feels around 1:12 (or "classic") size, but with her voluminous fins she is much larger and around 1:9 (or "traditional") size. 

Seafoam is a pour date release, and is available to order now through August 30th. Her edition then closes permanently, with up to 5 artist proof pieces cast in addition.

What's this I heard about a shrinky Seafoam?
Yes, that's right, large Seafoam will be joined by a mini version. There will be some important differences, so read on to make the best choice for you:
🫧 I still need to test print sizes to see how small she can realistically be made - those fins are already pretty thin! I do not yet know what size a smaller Seafoam might be.
🫧 There is NO GUARANTEE I can even cast a smaller version. I think I can, but the current edition is the only guaranteed one.

🫧 The shrinky will have some changes, most notably:

- base changes to accommodate lights; a lighted version might not be available if I can't make them fit

- a smooth body; NO SCALES

- she will likely come with her body and fins PERMANENTLY ASSEMBLED

Consider the large version over the small if you want to use those sculpted scales for painting effects, or if you want to be able to paint her at all really. The way she is turning it will be very difficult, maybe impossible, to paint her inside bend when assembled.

You may make whatever partial payments work for you until your spot in line comes up, at which point you will have 3 months to complete your payments. All deposits and payments are non-refundable.
